Wax pricing in North Park ranges from $20 to $60 per gram depending on extraction method, source cultivator, and potency tier. Cured resin and shatter typically cost $20–$30 per gram; live resin ranges from $30–$50 per gram; solventless rosin commands premium pricing at $40–$70 per gram. All prices include California cannabis excise tax (15%) and local sales tax; delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on order total and delivery distance within North Park.

'Wax' is a texture category describing concentrates with a crumbly, opaque consistency caused by agitation during the purging process. 'Shatter' describes concentrates with a glass-like, translucent consistency produced by undisturbed purging. 'Live resin' refers to the starting material (fresh-frozen flower) rather than texture. Live resin can have wax, shatter, or sauce consistency depending on post-extraction handling. For North Park customers, the functional difference is terpene content: live resin preserves 4–8% terpenes regardless of texture; cured wax and shatter contain 1–3% terpenes. All three categories are consumed identically (dab rig, vaporizer, or concentrate pen) and deliver comparable THC potency.

All cannabis concentrates sold legally in California. Including wax delivered to North Park. Must pass a mandatory testing panel from a state-accredited laboratory. Required tests include cannabinoid potency analysis (THC, THCA, CBD, and other cannabinoids with ±15% accuracy tolerance), pesticide screening for 66 regulated compounds with pass/fail against California action limits, residual solvent testing measuring parts-per-million (PPM) of butane, propane, ethanol, and other extraction solvents, heavy metal screening for lead, cadmium, arsenic, and mercury, and water activity measurement below 0.65 Aw to confirm mold risk is controlled. Every product on SeaWeed Delivery's menu includes a downloadable COA with these results.

Cannabis wax should be stored in an airtight, light-blocking container in a cool, dark location. Ideally a drawer or cabinet away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Optimal storage temperature is 60–70°F; refrigeration is acceptable for long-term storage (6+ months) but requires allowing the container to reach room temperature before opening to prevent condensation. Exposure to heat, light, and air degrades terpenes and oxidizes THC into CBN over time, reducing potency and altering effects. Properly stored wax maintains full potency and terpene profile for 6–12 months; improperly stored wax (left in a hot car, exposed to sunlight) can degrade noticeably within weeks.

Cannabis wax is consumed through vaporization. Heating the concentrate to 315–450°F to release cannabinoids and terpenes without combustion. The most common methods are dab rigs (water pipes with a heated nail or banger), electric dab pens or nectar collectors, and concentrate-compatible dry herb vaporizers. Dab rigs provide the most control over temperature and vapor quality but require a torch or electronic heating element; dab pens offer portability and convenience with slightly less temperature precision. Wax should never be smoked in a traditional pipe or rolled into a joint without flower. Direct flame combustion destroys terpenes and produces harsher vapor than proper vaporization.

Yes. California medical cannabis patients registered with the state Medical Marijuana Identification Card (MMIC) program may purchase up to 8 grams of concentrate per day compared to the adult-use limit of 8 grams per transaction (no daily limit for recreational customers as of 2026, but individual retailers may impose transaction limits). Medical patients also access products with higher potency limits not available to recreational customers under some local jurisdictions.
