Ocean Beach runs on low-key. Nobody here wants to fire up a vape on a crowded Newport Avenue sidewalk, and plenty of people want something that doesn't smell like anything. That's why tinctures have a loyal following in the 92107. A dropper, a few drops under the tongue, and you're set for the sunset or the sleep.

Why Ocean Beach Orders Tinctures

OB is a neighborhood of tight apartments, shared houses, and old beach cottages, and a lot of those places have neighbors on the other side of a thin wall. Tinctures are odorless, quiet, and easy to portion. There's no smoke, no lighter, and nothing to clean up.

They also fit how people here live. Surfers and paddleboarders want something predictable for the evening after a long session. Remote workers want a small, measured dose that doesn't wreck the afternoon. Tinctures let you dial in an amount instead of guessing.

What the Tincture Lineup Looks Like

Our tincture menu rotates with what's in stock, but it generally breaks down like this:

  • THC-dominant drops: for evening unwinding, stress relief, and social nights in.
  • 1:1 THC to CBD: a gentler, more balanced option that's popular with newer customers and anyone who wants a clearer head.
  • CBD-forward blends: for daytime calm with little to no intoxication.
  • Sleep-focused formulas: often paired with minor cannabinoids like CBN, built for winding down at night.
  • Higher-potency bottles: for experienced users and people managing chronic aches who already know their dose.

Every product is lab-tested, and the label shows the potency and ingredients. Browse the whole delivery menu to see what's in stock for your address right now.

How to Dose a Tincture (Without Overdoing It)

Hold the drops under your tongue for a minute or so before swallowing. Sublingual absorption usually kicks in faster than an edible, often within 15 to 45 minutes. If you swallow it right away, it behaves more like an edible and can take longer to arrive.

Start low and wait before taking more. A good rule is to give it at least an hour and a half before redosing. If you've never tried one, a CBD-balanced bottle is the easy on-ramp. If you usually reach for edibles, you'll find tinctures easier to measure, since you control the amount down to the drop.

Tinctures vs. Carts and Smoke for Beach Days

Dog Beach, the pier, and Sunset Cliffs are all public spaces, and cannabis consumption isn't allowed on them. Plan to use your products at home or wherever you're staying, not on the sand or the bluffs. Tinctures make that easy because there's nothing to light and nothing to carry around.

If you want something faster-hitting for a patio session, our vape carts are the usual move. Tinctures are for the slower, steadier ride. Plenty of OB regulars keep both on hand.

How Delivery to Ocean Beach Works

We deliver across the 92107 and into the rest of the neighborhood, from the Newport Avenue corridor out to the streets near Sunset Cliffs Boulevard. Orders are placed online, a driver is dispatched from our San Diego operation, and you can follow the order on the tracking page until it arrives. We deliver to a residential or lodging address, never to a beach, a park, or a street corner.

A few local notes from the road:

  • Parking is the bottleneck. Weekends and summer evenings around Newport Avenue are packed. Tell us the best spot to pull up or meet you outside.
  • Put the unit number and any gate code in your notes. OB has plenty of back units, alley entrances, and cottages set behind other homes.
  • Busy nights slow everything. Friday and Saturday evenings and big event days around the pier can add minutes to any drive. Order a little early if you're on a clock.
  • Have your ID out. Everyone receiving an order must be 21+ with a valid government ID. No exceptions.

Short-Term Rentals, Hostels, and Visitors

OB gets a steady stream of visitors staying in vacation rentals and hostels. Tinctures are a smart pick for travelers because they're discreet, don't smell, and are easy to pack. Just make sure your host or property allows cannabis on-site before you order, and keep the delivery to your actual lodging address with the name on your ID.

Who Orders, and What Else They Add

The typical OB tincture order comes from locals in their late twenties through sixties: people winding down after work, people looking for a nighttime routine, and people who've aged out of smoking. Many add a pack of pre-rolls or an eighth for the weekend. Regulars also get more from the rewards program the more they order.
